Firefox open downloaded file






















 · I recently reset Firefox. Before whenever I downloaded a file, it automatically prompted me if I wanted to open the file or save it to my computer, with saving it to my computer preselected. This was fine because I almost never want to open these downloads automatically, and I like all my downloads to go into my downloads folder on a separate.  · We can access file download dialog in Firefox in Selenium. Using latest -current i noticed a strange behaviour in firefox. When i download something and use the button to open the downloaded file location the following happens: if a dolphin window was already opened, then a new tab in dolphin is created, pointing the downloaded file location. Click the Library button, click Downloads and click Show All Downloads at the bottom of the Downloads panel. Click the Library button and click Downloads from the menu. Click the menu button and click Downloads from the menu. The Library window will open, showing a list of your downloaded files. When you click on a link and Firefox doesn't have a content type and download action set up for that type of file, Firefox will ask you how to handle the file: Open with: Saves the file to a temporary folder and opens it in the operating system's default application for that file type. (You can also use the drop-down menu to choose another application.) If no default application is shown, you can click the Choose Browse button to choose an application installed on your computer to open.
