Utorrent downloading skip files

Despite setting the file as "skip" or "Don't Download" uTorrent still downloads them. Is there a fix? When I'm downloading a torrent with a bunch of files inside and I only need a subset of those files, I set those that I don't need to be "skipped" or to not be downloaded by right clicking on it .  · When you select "Don't Download" a file and mark it's priority to "skip" then close uTorrent and open it again the "skip" files will still be marked with "skip" but will act as if they are "normal" and it will download the entire torrent not just the selected files.  · Load torrent, mark some files for skipping, let uTorrent to download some time, close it (completely), restart computer (probably not necessary), run uTorrent. Edit, I just noticed that the skipped files utorrent downloads, are half the file before, and half a file after a block of files marked for download. Example: say a block of files marked for download start with piece , and end with piece , utorrent downloads half of pieces , and respectively.
