Ps4 not auto downloading

As long as my PS4 is in rest mode overnight, all system updates and game updates will download around am EST. There are times I'll get home from work later in the afternoon and when I boot up the PS4 it will show updates that downloaded at 5am that morning. What I can say is if you get a download (free theme or free DLC) and push it through the PS4 from the web browser, it will start up and check for patches. Also note: it only checks the most recent games. If you haven't played overwatch for 2 months, and you've played 10+ games since then, it might not be automatically updating Overwatch anymore.
