How to stop downloading rar files

 · When I right click on a file and hover over send to and click on compressed zip file, a zip file is created but the icon isn't like a directory (the default one) but like a WinRar file. When I run it, WinRar opens the file. I want the icon to look like a normal directory and the default program to open Zip files. I have unchecked 'ZIP' from.  · I was downloading a *.rar and suddenly it stopped. I tried downloading the file again and replaced the file *.part with the more advanced content from the previous download but it just didn't work. Once you find the options/preference menu, see if you can find the file association menu. Once you find the file association menu, see if there is an option bltadwin.ru files and if there is, uncheck it and save the new settings.

There is no File association for Winrar If you look closely at the ".rar" files in my image above, they are bltadwin.ru files bltadwin.ru files associated with Winrar. That's why their icon is Winrar's. It was enough to disable zip Explorer folder (see reg file bellow) and everything is back in order. When I try to download a dwg or dxf file, my computer automatically downloads it as RAR format (I think I accidentally ticked a box that said to use this format always) When I open these files in autocad it is blank. I have unchecked 'ZIP' from. im downloading mods for tf2 (anamation ones) and tere file type bltadwin.ru files but windows always bltadwin.ru files to open in notepad so it breaks the mod and doesnt work and so far i cant find a way to fix it. I play games such as Sims 4 and I download custom content. A good portion of the stuff I download are RAR files. I accidentally clicked 'Always open with notepad' and I can no longer get it to be just a normal file.
